Writing Instruction

Bill Bache Brown is the recipient of the CIPA Gold Award for Fiction for The Day the EPA Went Down: a novel of evil, redemption, and exploding chili, written under the name Lucian Wurhmwuhd. He is a former college English teacher at The Johns Hopkins University and The University of Denver, who now provides online instruction and coaching, especially for those who are stuck in their process of writing anything from office memos to novels. The online version of his Write, Wright, Right program is currently under development. As “The Fallen Away English Teacher” he recognizes that what often inhibits people in their writing is the well meaning but intimidating instruction they received in school, instruction that may well have discouraged them from writing well. His system helps such people overcome that intimidation so they can produce well written pieces of all kinds, practical or fanciful, long or short, that are effective rather than just correct.
